I am a bilingual psychotherapist dually credentialed as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Psy.D dedicated to servicing diverse clinical populations both the English and Spanish language.

I have conducted extensive work in the following areas: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; adverse childhood experiences; attachment; victims of stalking, sexual violence; domestic violence, incest; chemical dependency; repetitive behavior disorders; bereavement; crisis intervention; self-esteem building; cultural diversity; mood disorders; anxiety disorders; life transition; migration and acculturation; human trafficking; assertiveness training; refugees with collective trauma; co-occurring disorders; survivors of crime; and co-dependency.

Services include: Initial assessment interview; collaborative treatment planning, diversity enhanced ongoing informed consent, individual therapy, couples/marital therapy (John Gottman,Ph.D approach), family therapy, geriatric therapy, advocacy, psycho-educational information, appropriate community referrals, mental health treatment, substance use disorder/repetitive behavior treatment, EMDR, and grief counseling. Face-to-face therapy for southern Nevada residents and tele-behavioral therapy for California and Idaho residents including those in Northern Nevada. 

Clientele includes: individuals 18 and over, geriatric, couples, families, diverse sexual orientations, those with chronic ongoing medical complications and/or physical challenges.

Good Faith Estimate Notice:  You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your mental health care will cost. You have the the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of psychotherapy services before you schedule a service. Exclusions: Documentation for FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), Workers' Compensation, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term disability as such is deferred to primary care physician, medical specialist, and/or psychiatrist. Letters to ICE/immigration and immigration evaluations; letters for emotional support animals and service dogs; and child custody evaluations.
